That's Cold...

Hello!

Forecaster Mike here updating you on the cold forecast.  I'm sorry that I didn't look at weather data to give you all a heads up on the snow that we got in south central Michigan this morning.  We'll likely see more of it, details on that below.  But the cold is what the scoop is.  Have a look at this graphic:

And while we're talking about cold, air temperatures are between 15-21 degrees as I write this at 8:35 PM.  Look at the wind chills:

Lansing is the cold spot with +3, Hillsdale is +4, Jackson and Battle Creek each with +5.  No double digits in this area.  In southwest Michigan, Three Rivers is 12 above, then you have to go to the lakeshore to find the warmest wind chill values.  BRRR!!!  At least we don't have snow to worry with.  Over by the lake, 5 inches in Holland, up near Cadillac, 9 inches.  Lake effect snow will keep falling west of US 131 for the next day or so.

Here's a look at the short-term forecast:

I hope you have a great night.  Blessings!
