Weekend RACECast

Fairly Wet Wednesday - Drying Out For The Weekend...
Good Morning!
A gray, dreary day in South Central Michigan to start, and it doesn't improve a ton from here. Let's dive right into it and see what's cooking:
SCATTERED SHOWERS ABOUT: Dry for the moment in South Central Michigan, but plenty of shower activity to the north and west of us.
As the low pressure system that's just west of us over Indiana and the lake slides this way, we'll keep the clouds and such around, with some periods of rain drops.
NOTHING SEVERE TO WORRY WITH: We'll absolutely have to contend with rain as stated above, but the Storm Prediction Center says that we won't have much of anything beyond your plain vanilla thunderstorms. Looking at the observations and data at hand, I don't even see much storm action possibility in the cards, at least not until this afternoon and evening. We'll have to see how much sun may be able to break through and heat the surface, and I don't expect a ton of sun. After that, things start to quiet down as we work toward the weekend.
TEMPERATURES RIGHT IN THE BALLPARK: Average readings this time of year are right around 79. Thankfully, we don't deviate much from that. Computer models are suggesting a range from 74 on the low side to 84 on the high side over the next week. That's quite manageable this time of year! After a cool Friday where we only get into the low 70's we warm up to seasonal levels for the weekend.
