I have had the chance to look at some weather data. It looks like the rain will hold off until late late tonight or into tomorrow. There's a "dry notch" in the upper air that you can see on the water vapor satellite image, so while we have the right conditions for rain, we're lacking moisture. Here's my forecast for this evening:
And can you believe that the first winter storm of the season is cranking up? Believe it or not, all of North Dakota is under a Winter Weather Advisory, and parts of northeast North Dakota and northwest Minnesota are under a Winter Storm Warning! Aren't you glad this is Michigan and not either of those places!?
