Quickie Forecast

Good Morning!

On the move today (daughter's field day at school, girls soccer regional match later today), so am abbreviated forecast for you done via smartphone (technology rocks when it's working!)

MAJOR THEMES:

Plenty of sun and cooler today, a stray pop-up shower or storm may manage to fire later though the air is pretty dry now.

A low that will likely trigger some heavy duty severe weather in the Plains today marches east overnight, setting us up for scattered showers and thunderstorms tomorrow.

Temperatures will be decidedly cooler than advertised previously, with readings topping out around 81 into the weekend, and little or no rain after tomorrow.

Next credible chance of rain after tomorrow is Sunday.

FORECAST:

TODAY - Sunny and mild.  A lonely shower could fire this afternoon but that's only a 2 in 10 shot at best, high 76.  Wind SW 6-12 MPH.

TONIGHT - Mostly clear, some passing clouds, low 53.  Wind WNW 5-10 MPH

TOMORROW - Mixed sun to start, cooler, increasing clouds as the day progresses, showers and thunderstorms developing by afternoon.  High 71.  Wind NNE 5-10 MPH.

THURSDAY - Sunshine returns, continued cool, high 72.

FRIDAY - More sunshine, warming filters back in, high 76.

That's the scoop from the perch right now.  I hope you have a great Tuesday! Blessings.
