Looking at the weather data I have at hand currently, I am starting to think that Michigan, especially south of Clare, may dodge a bullet and escape this severe weather with just some wind damage and heavy rains. That being said, there is still a PDS Tornado Watch in effect until 8 PM EST for all of the blog area and in fact for the lower two-thirds of the state. Now is not the the time to let your guard down. Straight-line wind damage can be just as bad as a tornado touching down. Keep checking here and local media for updates - we'll keep you posted.
