I presume you've already heard, but if by some chance you have not, we are under alert from the National Weather Service (NWS) for the heat. As a reminder:
EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING
Every county in the South Central Michigan Weather Zone is under an Excessive Heat Warning from the National Weather Service until either 9PM Friday 6/6, or 8AM or 8PM Saturday, 8/7, depending on which NWS office handles your county:
Branch, Hillsdale - 8PM Saturday 7/7
Calhoun, Clinton, Eaton, Ingham, Jackson - 8AM Saturday, 7/7
Lenawee, Livingston, Shiawassee, - 9PM Friday, 6/6
OZONE ADVISORY
There is also an Ozone Advisory for today, 7/5/12 for Hillsdale, Livingston, and Washtenaw counties, for increased Ozone levels due to the heat.
